Upside-Down Beefsteak Pie Recipe
1/4 cup of green bell pepper (green)
3/4 cup of celery; sliced
1/4 cup of onion
1/3 cup of water
1 lb of beef; ground
1 canned tomato soup
1 tsp of prepared mustard
1-1/2 cup of Bisquick baking mix
2 tbsps of shortening
Preheat the oven up to 450 degrees F.
In a large nonstick skillet, cook the ground beef, chopped celery, chopped onions and chopped pepper in the shortening ’til light brown.
Add in the prepared mustard and tomato soup. Stir well. Transfer it to a baking dish.
Combine Bisquick with water to make dough. Roll it depending on the shape of the dish. Use it to top the meat mixture. Then, cook in the oven for approximately 15 minutes.
