Tasty Salmon Burger Recipe

1 canned salmon (14.5 oz); bones & skin removed & chopped
1 clove garlic; minced/pressed
1/2 to 3/4 c of bread/cracker/cornflake crumbs
1 onion (medium); minced
1/4 c of mayonnaise
1 egg; beaten
A dash of “Old Bay” seasoning (Old Bay)
4 pcs of hamburger buns; toasted
Tomato & lettuce
Pesto (optional)
American Cheese (optional)

Combine the salmon, garlic, cornflake crumbs, mayonnaise, onions, beaten egg, and Old Bay seasoning altogether in a large bowl. Mix well to distribute ingredients evenly. Make some patties out of the salmon mixture.

Place a large nonstick skillet with veggie oil over medium heat. When the oil is hot, fry the patties ’til both sides are golden.

Remove from the heat and transfer to a platter with paper towel to drain excess fat. Cover to keep warm.

Spread mayonnaise and lay about two lettuce leaves on each bun. Lay the salmon burgers on the lettuce leaves. Top the burgers with American cheese.

Spread pesto on top of the cheese; and then top with tomatoes. Close the bun, and warm it up in an oven toaster for about a minute prior to serving.
