Spam Brochettes Recipe
1/4 c of onion; minced
1 can of buttermilk biscuits (large, refrigerated)
1 can of Spam
2 c of milk
2 Tbsps of butter (or margarine)
2 Tbsps of ground pepper
Prepare the biscuit as stated in the package instructions. Set aside.
Meanwhile, place a medium-sized skillet with butter over medium heat. When the butter melts, saute the onions. Once the onion caramelizes, saute the Spam ’til light brown.
Add in flour. Season with pepper and salt. Stir the mixture for a minute more; and then pour in the milk. Whisk occasionally ’til it boils. Reduce the heat to simmer.
Stir constantly uncovered ’til the mixture thickens. Remove from heat. Pour over warm biscuits
