Baked Hotdog Casserole Recipe
1/8 tsp of curry powder
3/4 c of Cheddar cheese; grated
1/2 to 3/4 tsp of salt
2 Tbsps of green bell pepper; minced
2 Tbsps of margarine (or butter)
2 Tbsps of onion; minced
2 c of noodles
1 can of cream of chicken (condensed); not diluted
2 c of hotdogs; diced
Preheat the oven up to 350 degrees F.
Meanwhile, place a medium-sized nonstick saucepan over medium heat. Once hot, pitch the butter into the saucepan. When the butter melts, saute the garlic and green bell pepper.
Add in the hotdogs, noodles, salt, 1/2 cup of the Cheddar cheese, and curry powder. Mix thoroughly for about 5 more minutes and remove from the heat.
Transfer the mixture to a two-quart casserole. Sprinkle with the remaining grated cheese and bake for half an hour.
Remove the noodles from heat. Spoon a generous portion into a platter and serve with crusty bread.
