Mom’s Beef Goulash Recipe
Garlic; crushed
Salt & pepper
1 canned tomatoes; stewed & chopped
1 pc of fresh onion; minced
1 to 2 cans tomato sauce
1 lb beef; ground
1 lb elbow macaroni
Place a medium-sized skillet with margarine over medium heat. When the margarine melts, toss in the garlic and onions.
Once the garlic turns light brown and the onion becomes transparent, add in the beef ’til light brown. Drain the fat.
Meanwhile cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain. Reduce heat. Toss the cooked beef into the bowl with macaroni.
Stir the tomato sauce and stewed tomatoes. Toss well to coat the macaroni evenly. Add a dash of salt and pepper to season. Warm for about 5 minutes more while tossing. Serve hot with crusty bread.
