Hash Brown Casserole Recipe
Salt and pepper
1/2 cup of onions; minced
1/2 cup of margarine; softened
1 can of “cream of chicken” soup (condensed)
1 pint of sour cream
2 cup of Cheddar (or Parmesan) cheese; shredded
2 cup of cornflakes; crumbled
2 lbs of hash browns (frozen); thawed
Combine the hash browns, cheese, margarine, salt, sour cream, pepper and cream of chicken soup and mix well. Pour it into an oiled baking dish (9×13x2 inches).
Preheat the oven up to 350 degrees F.
Meanwhile, combine margarine and cornflakes in a small bowl. Sprinkle it on top of the hash brown mixture. Cover it with aluminum foil. Bake for about 18-20 minutes. remove the cover; and then bake for another 18-20 minutes.
