Creamy Beef Toast Recipe

1-1/2 c of milk
1/4 c of biscuit mix (or flour)
1 lb of lean round beef; ground
Margarine
Biscuits (or toast)
Salt and pepper
1 garlic cloves; crushed
1 onion (medium); chopped

Place a medium-sized nonstick skillet with oil over high heat. Once the oil is hot, saute the garlic and onions. When the onion caramelizes, add in the ground beef ’til brown.

Drain the fat and reserve it in a small saucepan. Transfer the beef into a medium-sized container with cover. Set aside.

Heat the reserved fat over low heat and add the margarine. Stir constantly while adding one cup of milk.

Meanwhile, pour the remaining 1/2 cup of milk in a blender together with flour. Pulse it ’til smooth and free from lumps.

Stir in this milk and flour mixture into the reserved fat mixture. Stir constantly ’til the mixture thickens and boils.

Spoon some beef over toast or crusty bread. Top it with the cream mixture prior to serving.
