Classic Beef Stroganoff Recipe
1/4 tsp of pepper; ground
1 canned consomme
1 bag of egg noodles
1/2 c of onions; diced
1 canned tomato paste (6 oz)
1 canned mushrooms; sliced
1 pound of beef; ground
1 pint of sour cream
1 Tbsp of vinegar
2 Tbsps of salt
2 Tbsps of butter
2 cloves of garlic; crushed
2 Tbsps of flour
Place a large nonstick saucepan over medium heat. Once hot, pitch the butter into the saucepan. When the butter melts, saute the garlic and onions.
Meanwhile, place the meat in a medium-sized bowl and sprinkle it with flour, pepper and salt. Mix it well. Saute the meat mixture into the skillet together with mushrooms, stirring often for about six (6) minutes.
Add in the consomme, tomato paste and vinegar; and then simmer it (uncovered) for about ten (10) minutes. Add in the sour cream. Stir the mixture ’til the preferred consistency i reached.
Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain it and transfer to a large platter or serving bowl. Pour the beef mixture over the noodles and serve.
