Beef and Beans in Biscuits Recipe
Veggie oil
1 small onion; chopped
2 cloves of garlic; crushed
1/2 c of cheese (cheddar); shredded
1 lb of beef; ground
1 can of beans w/ molasses
1 cup of sugar (brown)
1 cup of ketchup
2 biscuit tubes; small
Place a nonstick skillet with veggie oil over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, saute the beef in garlic and chopped onions. Stir constantly ’til the beef is brown and tender. Drain the oil.
Transfer the beef in a 1.5 quart circular casserole (baking) dish. Add in the beans, catsup, as well as sugar; and then stir well.
Separate biscuits into two. Place it on top (flat side down) of the beef.
Arrange it in two (2) rows around the dish. Leave the center open as biscuits will not cook properly). Top with shredded Cheddar. Place inside the oven for approximately 20 minutes.
