Garden Chowder Recipe
Garlic; crushed
Salt & pepper
1 Tbsp of margarine
2 pcs of carrots; chopped
1 onion (medium); minced
1 c of whole kernel corn
1 canned “cream of chicken” soup
2 c of milk
3 potatoes (medium); chopped
Place a large pot over medium heat. When it is hot, pitch the margarine into the pot. When it melts, add in the garlic and onions. Saute for about a minute.
Add in the potatoes, carrots, and corn; and then, pour in water enough to cover the mixture. Once it boils, reduce the heat to simmer ’til the vegetables soften.
Make sure that the vegetables are not squashy. Pour in the soup followed by the milk, and stir well. Simmer the soup for about 5 minutes longer, covered.
