Pea Chowder Recipe

Pea Chowder Recipe

1 canned peas (16 oz)
1 canned chicken broth/stock (16 oz)
1 tsp of dill (dry)
A dash of salt & pepper
A pinch of cumin & sage
A sprig of parsley to garnish

Pour the chicken stock into a large saucepan (or pot). Place it over medium heat. Just as it is about to boil, add in the dill. Stir ’til well-blended.

Puree the peas together with the broth using a blender or food processor. Stir the pureed peas into the simmering chicken broth. Stir well. Sprinkle a pinch of sage and cumin.

Add a dash of pepper and salt to season further. Simmer uncovered for about 7-10 minutes more ’til desired thickness.

Ladle into a soup bowl. Garnish with a sprig of parsley. Serve with garlic bread or any crusty bread.
