Broiled Chicken Recipe

Broiled Chicken Recipe

1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp of cardamon powder
1/2 tsp of chili powder
1/4 tsp of cinnamon powder
1/4 tsp of ginger powder
8 oz of plain yogurt
1 to 3 fresh garlic cloves (fresh); minced
2 to 3 lbs of raw chicken

Combine the plain yogurt, garlic cloves, salt, cardamon powder, chili powder, cinnamon powder and ginger powder altogether in a nonreactive steel bowl. Mix it well.

Add in the chicken and mix well. Cover with cling wrap and marinade for a minimum of two (2) hours inside the fridge.

When ready, remove the chicken from the marinade. Lay it on the broiler rack (side with skin facing down).

Broil the chicken ’til the top is seared, which should take about 15 minutes. Turn it over. Broil for 2 minutes more.

Once cooked, transfer the chicken onto a platter. Cover to keep warm. Simmer the marinade for about 5-7 minutes; and pour it over the chicken.

You may sprinkle it with chopped parsley to garnish. Serve chicken with fried rice.
