Barley and Cabbage Soup Recipe
1/2 cabbage head (medium); sliced
1 onion (medium); chopped coarsely
1/2 c of barley
3 cubes of beef bouillon
1/2 c of catsup
3-4 c of water
Combine onions, cabbage, barley, beef boullion, catsup, and water altogether in a medium-sized pot. Reduce the heat once it boils and simmer for about 15-20 minutes. Once cooked, laddle some into a soup bowl and serve with French bread (or any crusty bread).
