Baked Potato and Salmon Recipe
7 potatoes; skinned & chopped
1 onion; minced
2 Tbsps of butter (or margarine)
2 Tbsps of flour
1 canned salmon; drained
2 c of milk
3/4 c of Cheddar cheese; shredded
Salt & pepper
Place a medium-sized skillet with margarine over medium heat. When the margarine melts, toss in the garlic and onions. Once the garlic turns light brown and the onion becomes transparent, reduce the heat. Whisk in the flour and milk.
Let the sauce boil for minute while stirring slowly. Add the cheese into the sauce and let it melt as you stir constantly. Toss the salmon into the sauce. Simmer uncovered for about 5 minutes or up to desired thickness). Remove from heat and set aside.
Preheat the oven up to 350 degrees F.
Assemble half of the potatoes in the casserole. Pour half of the salmon mixture over the potatoes. Do the same procedure for the second half of the potatoes. Cook it uncovered in the oven for half an hour (or ’til bubbly).
