Baked Macaroni, Cheese and Sausage Recipe
12 oz of elbow macaroni (12 oz)
1 can of “Cheddar cheese” soup
1/2 can milk
1/8 tsp of black pepper (ground)
1/4 tsp of mustard (dry); ground
1 onion (medium); minced
1/2 c of green bell pepper; chopped
1/2-3/4 c of cheese (cheddar); shredded
1 lb of breakfast sausage
Cook the macaroni as stated in the package instructions. Drain, and set aside.
Meanwhile, place a medium-sized skillet with oil over medium heat. When the oil is hot, toss in the crumbled brakfast sausage ’til light brown. Drain the fat.
Preheat the oven up to 350 degrees F.
Dump the pasta in a large mixing bowl followed by the Cheddar cheese soup, milk, black pepper, dry mustard, onions, and sausage.
Toss it well to coat ingredients evenly; and then add in grated Cheddar. Transfer it to casserole. Cook in the oven uncovered for half an hour. Serve with crusty bread.
