Baked Green Beans & Chicken Casserole Recipe
1 can of cream of mushroom soup (10.75 oz)
1 can of green beans; strained & cut
1-1/2 c of chicken (8 oz); cooked & cubed
1 can of onion (Durkee French, 2.8 oz); fried
1 Tbsp of parsley (flakes)
2 c of rice; cooked
3/4 c of milk
Preheat the oven up to 350 degrees F.
Mix the parsley and rice in a shallow baking dish (8×12 inches) and mix well. Push the parsley and rice mixture up the sides, as well as the bottom to make a crust.
Meanwhile, combine the cooked chicken, green beans, soup, milk, pepper and half of the fried onions altogether in a large bowl. Mix well, and pour the mixture into the baking dish with crust. Cover it with foil. Bake for approximately 35 minutes.
Remove the baked chicken and beans from the oven and top it with the remaining half of the fried onions. Bake it for 5 minutes more without the cover.
