Bacon-Draped Frankfurter Recipe
1/4 tsp of dry mustard
2 Tbsps of onion; chopped
4 slices of bread; sliced in half-inch cubes
1 Tbsp of parsley; chopped finely
3 Tbsps of water
6 bacon strips
6 frankfurters
Salt & pepper
Preheat the oven (400 degrees F). Combine the bread cubes, chopped onions, chopped parsley, and dry mustard. Drizzle with water to dampen. Mix it well. Sprinkle with a dash of pepper and salt. Toss lightly.
Slit each of the frankfurters along the length – nearly slicing through.
Afterward, stuff it with the bread cube mixture. Next, get a bacon strip and wrap it around each frankfurter; and then lock it with a toothpick (wooden).
Do the same procedure with the remaining frankfurters.
Line up the wrapped frankfurters in a baking dish; and then cook it in the oven for 15-20 minutes.
